Weekend Labs
Hands-on cloud architecture, built on Saturday and torn down by Sunday night.
I'm a cloud ops engineer. During the week I keep production running. On weekends I build the things I keep reading about, break them on purpose, and write down what actually happened.
Each lab is a small, real deployment in a personal sandbox account. It's written with Terraform and Terragrunt, costs a few cents, and finishes with a teardown I verify. The write-up keeps the errors in, because the gotchas teach more than the parts that worked first time.
This site is a lab too: a static Astro build in a private S3 bucket behind CloudFront, deployed with the same Terragrunt setup as everything else.
This is a personal project. Nothing here comes from or speaks for an employer.
